Joe Mobley serves as Managing Partner of The Florida Group, directing the firm’s Jacksonville and Tallahassee practices. Prior to joining TFG in 2008, Joe served as Assistant Vice President of Legislative Affairs at Fidelity National Financial, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Jacksonville. While at Fidelity, Joe served on a team responsible for the company’s legislative and political agenda throughout the United States and Washington, D.C. He also administered Fidelity’s federal Political Action Committee (PAC) and numerous state PACs.
Before his time at Fidelity, Joe was the top aide to two members of the Florida House of Representatives, including former Florida Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll. During his time working in state government, Joe assisted with the passage of meaningful legislation in the areas of growth management, telecommunications and transportation.
Active in politics, Joe has volunteered and raised funds for numerous successful local, state and national campaigns. He is a past Gubernatorial Appointee to the Clay County Development Authority, serving as a Chairman during his time with the organization.
Throughout his career, Joe has remained active in the legislative process, maintaining strong relationships with local elected and appointed officials in Northeast Florida and throughout the state. As a result, he has successfully represented a large number of clients throughout his time at TFG, helping secure victories on procurement efforts, appropriations projects and legislative initiatives at every level government.
Community involvement ranks high on Joe’s priority list. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Riverside Rotary Club of Jacksonville and the Green Cove Springs Wrestling Club. He is also a founder and current member of the Board of Directors of the Clay County Economic Development Corporation.
When not working, Joe enjoys golf, travel, trivia, spending time with family, and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves and Jacksonville Jaguars. He holds a degree in Political Science from Florida State University and a certificate in Executive Presence and Influence from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Judge Kristina Mobley, attend the Church of Eleven 22 and reside in Green Cove Springs with their two children and a small zoo of pets.
