Melissa Langley Braude is a Partner at The Fiorentino Group. She currently serves as a registered lobbyist at the state and local levels in addition to heading up the firm’s political and community relations.

In 2014, Melissa joined the firm to lead fundraising operations. She quickly advanced to support lobbying efforts in Jacksonville and Tallahassee.

Prior to joining TFG, Melissa worked at the Republican Party of Florida and served on the fundraising team for Florida’s Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater.

In 2018, Melissa took a leave of absence from the firm for a stint in public service when she accepted a position in Washington, D.C. at the Corporation for National and Community Service as the Special Assistant to the Director of AmeriCorps State and National. In this role, she served as an agency liaison and managed the Director’s special initiatives. Melissa also provided logistical support for competitive and non-competitive grant competitions.

In 2022, Melissa was selected as a “Rising Star” by Influence Magazine.

A Jacksonville native, Melissa has a unique love for the City and routinely gives back. She is currently a member of the Rotary Club of South Jacksonville and serves on the Board of Directors for The Allison Brundick Haramis Foundation, also known as Angels for Allison, a non-profit covering funeral expenses for children.

Melissa graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Criminal Justice from The Florida State University. She and her husband live in Jacksonville, FL with their rescue dog, Bunker.
