Mark J. Pinto Jr. joined The Fiorentino Group in 2010 and serves as a consultant and principal to the firm. Mark provides our clients with a wealth of knowledge relating to the state lawmaking and appropriations processes. He has key experience in the areas of media relations, grassroots campaigning, and fundraising, among others. As a result, Mark has developed an extensive and invaluable network of contacts in both the private and public sectors.

In 2012, Mark took a temporary leave of absence from The Fiorentino Group during the presidential election to serve as the Special Assistant to then Republican Party of Florida Chairman Lenny Curry, who is now Mayor of Jacksonville. In this role, Mark developed strong relationships with House and Senate Leadership, members of the Florida Cabinet, and the Governor’s Office. Mark began his political career with Florida Senate President-designate Bill Galvano (R-Bradenton) during his tenure in the Florida House of Representatives as the Rules Chairman. Mark worked on Senator Galvano’s first political campaign and served as his aide in the House. His experience in the state legislature provides him with unique and relative insight on a number of key policy issues affecting our clients. Prior to his service in the Florida House of Representatives, Mark worked for former Congressman Dan Miller (R-Fla.). Mark has also been active in local, state, and national politics, and has volunteered and raised funds for numerous political campaigns. He also recently served on the St. Johns County Chamber Economic Development Council.

Mark graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. A native of Bradenton, Florida, he is married to Kelly Woodard Pinto, a former public high school English teacher. They reside in St. Johns County, Florida with their daughter.
