Mark Pinto joined The Fiorentino Group in 2010 and serves as a governmental consultant for the firm. Mark provides our clients with a wealth of knowledge relating to the state lawmaking and appropriations processes. He has key experience in the areas of media relations, grassroots campaigning and fundraising, among others. As a result, Mark has developed an extensive and invaluable network of contacts in both the private and public sectors.

In 2012, Mark took a temporary leave of absence from The Fiorentino Group during the presidential election to serve as the Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. In this role, Mark interacted frequently with House and Senate Leadership, members of the Florida Cabinet, and the Governor’s Office. This opportunity allowed Mark to travel across the state to meet campaign donors, elected officials, and community leaders.

Mark began his political career with State Senator Bill Galvano (R-Bradenton) during his tenure in the Florida House of Representatives. Mark worked on Senator Galvano’s first political campaign and served as his legislative aide in the Florida House. His experience in the State Legislature provides him with unique and relative insight on a number of key issues affecting our clients.

Prior to his service in the Florida House of Representatives, Mark interned for a number of legislative officials. As a college student, he interned for two members of the United States Congress as well as Valente & Associates, a Washington, D.C. lobbying firm.

Mark graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, where he was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and a graduate of the college’s most distinct leadership program, Society of ‘91. He is currently completing graduate-level coursework in Political Science at the University of South Florida.
